  I am Geof from England, although living in China. I am 73. I stayed with Franz and Marie-Laure for ten days and very much enjoyed my stay. The permaculture garden is abundant and I learnt so much about growing the permaculture way from Franz. I very much admire what they have created and if you are interested in permaculture, I highly recommend a stay with them. Franz is very knowledgeable about plants, in fact, many things. I had some delicious meals with them and all the vegetables from the garden. It was great to be about to bathe in the river at the side of the garden. Thanks for a great stay.

  My experience at Le Pré Vert (French below)
  
  My name is Daniel Nijenhuis and I am a Master student of Soil Science at the University of Copenhagen.
  I was lucky enough to spend some time at Le Pré Vert in the spring of 2026. The food forest of Franz is truely special; it is wild, lush and almost completly made up of edible plants. Fanz' appraoch gardening is holestic, meaning that the plants and fauna of the garden are aloud to interact and synargize. While the chaos of the garden my seem intimidating, Franz' is really keen to share his knowledge and experiance with visitors, only the answer to one question often spawns many more, but this is the beauty of Le Pré Vert.
  
  Je m'appelle Daniel Nijenhuis et je suis étudiant en Master en Science du Sol à l'Université de Copenhague.
  J'ai eu la chance de passer un peu de temps au Pré Vert au printemps 2026. La forêt comestible de Franz est vraiment spéciale; elle est sauvage, luxuriante et composée presque entièrement de plantes comestibles. L'approche de Franz en jardinage est holistique, ce qui signifie que les plantes et la faune du jardin sont autorisées à interagir et à synergiser.
  Bien que le chaos du jardin puisse sembler intimidant, Franz est vraiment désireux de partager ses connaissances et son expérience avec les visiteurs. La réponse à une seule question en engendre souvent de nombreuses autres, mais c'est là la beauté du Pré Vert.

  Magnifique jardin. Tres impressionnee de voir comment un lieu peut se transformer en 13 ans. Franz ma reçu très gentiment et a partagé ses connaissances et expériences généreusement.
